Where is the listing for Washington, D.C. on this site, they only have washington state. So frustrating, this is not the first vet site that I come across that doesn't have listings for D.C. Does anyone know of a vet in the area that is experienced with gerbils?

They're under maintainance at the moment.
Please Note: We at VetWorld are currently working on an all new site with searchable updated information. In the meantime, we are providing access to the old website data for your convience. Please look for an all new searchable list of Vetranarians soon.
You could try searching through google or similar for vets in your area.

Thanks gerbilmummy. I have been thinking about taking one of my gerbils to the vet for a mouth injury
